CJ is doing so well with his bonding...that has to be the Lord.
A very wise friend told me that getting outside and getting lots of sunshine helps with jet lag. Well, let me tell ya, we need help getting over this jet lag - it is brutal. So, we decided to introduce the boys to the Barbie Car. CJ didn't like it so much...he wanted to stick with the broken Barbie Jeep. Landon was a little timid at first, but then...
he loved it! Until....
Maggie had a little accident running over the dump truck and ending up on 2 wheels. :-) He got over it pretty fast though, and now he just pitches a fit when it is time to get out of the Barbie Car.
All-in-all, every one is adjusting remarkably well. Now, if we could just get some sleep....

Oh I LOVE seeing the pictures of you HOME!!! Congrats and remember this too shall pass and coffee is your best friend ;) Can not wait to see more pictures and watch those 2 just blossom at home with your family.

I am so excited to read your blog and see that you live in Birmingham! I was thrilled to see CJ and Landon leave New Day with their forever family and to know that you live in the same city is so exciting! Our family also lives in Birmingham and we are adopting two little girls from New Day this year! Mollie and Emma have been together all of their lives and came to New Day together a few months ago to live at the Forever Home. Mollie is three and Emma is four and they both have Down syndrome. We adopted two little boys in 2009 from Ukraine who are now three and six years old. JT and Max also have Down syndrome and are two of the most wonderful children God ever created. JT had open heart surgery in 2010 at UAB and Dr. Romp is our cardiologist as well. We moved back to Birmingham after nine years in Montgomery a few months after we adopted the boys to be closer to the pediatric specialist here and for better and more therapy and educational opportunities. We also have three bio kids ages ten, twelve, and sixteen. So we will also have seven by the end of the year! I would love to keep in touch with you and get our girls together with your boys when we get them home! My email is jolierobinsonharris@gmail.com. Congratulations! I hope your circus has a safe and fun summer!
